Since today is a Holiday I felt that it would be appropriate to type another post. Though i’m not quite sure why we celebrate Thanksgiving I do know it’s something to do with giving thanks ;). So I guess for this entry I will tell you what i’m thankful for. I feel this is an appropriate topic, not just for Thanksgiving but for the entire Holiday season as well.
1. I am thankful for my mom. Since my dad is no longer with us she stepped up. She went from not having a job in 14 years to working almost everyday to support the family.
2. I am thankful for my sister’s baby. There is something about a baby that just makes everyone happy. Though, it’s not due until April it’s going to be cool seeing her get bigger and bigger.
3. I am thankful for the fact that our country pulled together to make history. Thankful for the fact that Barack Obama is going to be our president and that change will surely ensue in the coming months.
4. I am thankful for the opportunities that I have been given throughout my lifetime. My parents did everything they could to make sure I had the best of the best (even though I usually take it for granted). (more…)
Gosh, I’m such a grumpy person. I sorta complain about anything and everything. Even when things are going good I find something to complain about. It’s my negative perspective I have on things that usually gets me in trouble. I’m even finding it harder and harder to actually say something nice about someone. Whaaa, tsk tsk I used to be quite the opposite but now all I do is sit in the house and complain about nothing really. Maybe that’s why I made this blog? To gripe and whine perhaps! Well what other reason do people keep blogs/diaries?
La la, on another note since my site wasn’t made at the time how do you feel about Obama~ Personally I am ecstatic yada yah yah! Even bigger issue, prop 8 being passed and all other gay marriage bans being passed. I don’t get it. Isn’t one of our Nation’s motto’s “equality for all” yet we pass a law that contradicts that very saying! Though I hope the protesters don’t stop. Black people had to fight for their rights and I guess the gay people will have to as well.
Site wise, I’m getting a bunch of content up, just a little while longer. I’ve been open for a couple days now and I already have 8,000 hits YAY ^.^
There are only two things in this world that I cannot stand when it comes to websites. What are they you ask, what are they even if you didn’t ask. Music on webpages and tons and tons of ads. Now I know you want to keep your visitors happy with music and you want to make money from ads but it’s just downright annoying.
With music, how do you expect anyone to read instructions, or blogs that you may have. Plus every time you click a new page it changes. It also confuses the hell out of me because I have no clue where the music is coming from. I constantly check to see if my media player is open or not. With ads it’s great you want some sort of income, but honestly you usually only get paid a penny for every click that ad receives. So basically it takes 1000 clicks just to get ten bucks, and in the process you piss off your visitors. It makes your site is so ugly and it keeps infuriating me/people with stupid pop ups that I/we are not interested in whatsoever! (more…)
